• Make sure you fill all your bare spots on your lawn with a quality topsoil and quality seed in early to mid mid-May! If you leave the bare spots bare without any new grass growing, what you'll have growing are weeds! Especially crabgrass in August!
• During the hot summer days do not water at night because the lawns, especially in low-lying areas, may not dry out property resulting in lawn disease and fungus. Try to water in the early am and late afternoon during the hot summer months.
• Make sure you adjust your sprinkler clocks if you have in-ground sprinklers as the weather develops.
  • If there is lots of rain, turn the clocks off until the lawns dry up.
  • With very little rain or drought-like conditions, increase the time on the zones that water your lawn, especially heavy sun areas!
  • Remember lawns need constant attention especially during the hot summer months.
  • Don't forget to have your landscaper dethatch your lawns in the spring.
